April 8, 2003 – New York, NY AIIM Conference and Expo: The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), Giga Information Group and the Workflow And Reengineering International Association (WARIA) are pleased to announce here today the winners of the 2003 Global Excellence Awards for innovation and excellence in workflow implementations. These prestigious awards are used to recognize organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives.

“It is important to note the significant role that vendors play in supporting their customers throughout a workflow implementation,” said Connie Moore, VP of Giga Information Group and Global Excellence in Workflow Awards judge and presenter. “Success is based not just on the relationship between an organization’s IT and business operations, but a strong relationship between customer and vendor that together leads to an innovative and successful implementation.”

Particular attention was paid to workflow implementations that show workflow extending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, and trading partners.
