WfMC, Giga Information Group, and WARIA
Announce Finalists of 2003 Global Awards for
Excellence in Workflow

March 11, 2003 – Lighthouse Point, Florida. The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), Giga Information Group and the Workflow And Reengineering International Association (WARIA) are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2003 Global Excellence Awards for innovation and excellence in workflow implementations. These prestigious awards are used to recognize organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives.

“The finalists represent a great diversity of applications,” said Jon Pyke, WfMC Chair and CTO Staffware Plc. “These implementations of the business processes and the interoperation of processes between different systems show how workflow has become the glue of today’s information systems.”

Particular attention was paid to workflow implementations that show workflow extending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners etc. The following list identifies the nominees with their nominators/primary vendors.

The Global Excellence in Workflow Awards (now in their 14th year) take place annually in conjunction with the AIIM Conference and Expo. The Gold and Silver Awards will be presented by Connie Moore, VP of Giga Information Group, at the Javits Convention Center, New York City, at 4:00-5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2003.
